Step into this new AI Era with me

AI Agentic Engineer & AI Consultant

Hi, my name is Martijn Wip. With over 25 years of IT experience—and the seniority that comes with it—I can easily distinguish between what truly matters and what doesn’t. That’s why I guide organizations responsibly in the strategic and technical implementation of AI, across all levels.

Integrate your organization’s data and workforce with AI responsibly, ensuring:

What matters most

Privacy protection
Ethical AI practices (no surveillance capitalism)
Clear cost structures (AI tokenomics can be tricky)
Full transparency on environmental impact

Why a self-hosted LLM + RAG stack?

The alternative to shipping your organization's data into someone else's black box.

Correct — or no answer at all

RAG answers exclusively from your organization's own data. If it isn't in the source material, the model says so instead of guessing.

Guaranteed privacy

Your data stays with you. With a cloud service every query sits on someone else's servers — a promise not to train on it isn't enough for medical, legal or financial organizations.

The AI works for you

You decide which model runs and when it changes. No vendor can unilaterally adjust pricing or terms under you.

Predictable costs

You pay for hardware and management, not per query. More usage lowers the cost per answer instead of raising the invoice.

No surveillance

What users type is never logged with third parties, profiled, or used to train someone else's model.

The AI Footprintmeter

Your washing machine has an energy label. Your AI chat doesn't. ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Grok all know exactly how much electricity each response costs — they just don't tell you. I started an online petition asking the EU to change that.

The ask is simple: oblige AI providers to show the electricity consumption of each response, in the app, at the moment it happens — the same way a fridge, a washing machine or a plane ticket already carries its number.

Recommended Books on AI:

I Am Not a Robot

I Am Not a Robot In this book, Joanna Stern did everything possible with AI for an entire year. At the dentist, at the doctor, at the vet, and when drafting her business emails and managing her finances. This gives us an look at the applications of AI that we will all adopt in the short term, but seen through the critical eye of a Wall Street Journal journalist.

The Reverse Centaur's Guide to Life After AI

The Reverse Centaur's Guide to Life After AI Through this book, I was introduced to Cory Doctorow, and he gives us clear insight into the true agenda of big money. It shows how they are barely guided by morality, and what the consequences of AI can be for us. It feels like someone finally standing up to a bully on the schoolyard—sharp, funny, and deeply truthful. It's a welcome contrast to all the overly optimistic pronouncements made by Zuckerberg and his cohorts.

Prophecy

Prophecy After reading Prophecy, something truly clicked for me. It highlighted the ethical framework I needed to continue my work, regardless of whether I operate as a developer or a consultant. The revelation was that we urgently need strong opposition and viable alternatives to Big Tech's agenda—an agenda designed to keep us all dependent on AI. We must be extremely vigilant about our privacy, surveillance, and environmental impact.
